David was born in Racine, April 11, 1953, son of Jack A. and Ardice “Tootie” R. (Macaione) Spencer. On June 10, 1988, he was united in marriage to Barbara A. Singstock who preceded him in death, July 16, 2005. David was employed by Racine Water & Wastewater for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Above all he was devoted to his family and will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Gina Spencer (Robert Westerlund) of Franksville, WI; his grandson, Bryce Spencer; his parents, Jack and Tootie Spencer of Racine; brothers, Jack (Mary) Spencer Jr., Alan (Diane) Spencer, Don (Karen) Spencer, all of Racine; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Barbara) Sutton of Sparta, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Debbie Spencer and Jeanne Sutton.
A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2008, 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until time of service.
