Barbara K. (Radwill) Carlson

Barbara K. Carlson, age 70, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Becker-Shoop Center.  Barbara was born in Racine on March 22, 1942, daughter of the late Albert and Joyce (Nee:  Alcott) Radwill.

On December 31, 1966, she was united in marriage to Lawrence “Larry” W. Carlson.  She was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and member of Racine Instinctive Bowman.  An avid bowler, Barbara also enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and especially loved traveling with family and friends.  Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of forty-six years, Larry; her children, Kimberly Ostrander, Gina (Victor) Boca of Colorado, Colleen (Steven) Snyder of Franksville, Casey (Tom) Bowen of Racine; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Albert (Joanne) Radwill of Racine; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  Private interment will be held.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
