Jeremiah L. 'Jay' Brook

Jeremiah L. “Jay” Brook, age 22, sadly left this world on Monday July 23, 2012. Jeremiah was born in Kenosha, April 23, 1990, son of Robert P. Brook and Cynthia A. (Nee: Solberg).

An accomplished musician, Jay sang vocals for the bands “Vital Fear,” “Shadows of Life,” “Alter Breed,” “Jay Brook Solo Project” and most recently “Leviathan.” Besides singing, Jeremiah also played the guitar, bass, keyboard and drums, and composed and produced lyrics and songs. His other interests included his car, movies, online video games, concerts and sports. His beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Robert Brook, Cynthia (Allen) Joas; his brothers, Josh Brook, Colin Joas, Mason Joas, Allen Joas Jr., Alexander Joas; his grandparents, Patrick and Mavis (Nee: Solfest) Brook; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Quentin; grandparents, Amy Lindgren, Wayne Solberg; and Aunt Sherri Solberg.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at noon. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Monday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon.
