Mary K. Mathiesen, age 92, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Mary was born in Racine on December 29, 1919, daughter of the late Adolph J. and Frances (Nee: Host) Gement.
On June 10, 1938, in Racine she was united in marriage to Russell E. Mathiesen, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2002. An avid Brewers fan, Mary also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Kathleen) Mathiesen; nieces, Cindy (Rich) Rosko, Marsha (Chuck) Johnson; nephew, Mark Miller; other relatives and many dear friends.
Private services were held with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
