Robert Lee Burns, age 65, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Wheaton Franciscan –All Saints Medical Center. Robert was born in Enterprise, Mississippi, on June 26, 1947, son of Ezra Lee and Carrie (Nee: Buckley) Burns. Robert was employed by J.I. Case Company.
Survivors include his mother, Carrie Bostic Burns; his daughter, Tiana Singleton (Breeon Carothers); his three grandchildren, Treviana, Breeon Jr., and Trevion; his stepdaughters, Latonia (Rev. Antonio) Lewis, Jacqueline Singleton; brothers and sister, Joe Frank Burns, Edwards Burns, Vera Burns, Hurdis Burns; nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ezra Burns; and his sister, Annie D. Miller.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m.
