St. Croix Falls, WI -- Andrew Patrick Gister, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire, WI. Andrew was born in Racine on August 28, 1954, son of the late Leonard and Bernice (Nee: Wasik) Gister.
Andrew attended Wm Horlick High School and was employed as a sheet metal worker with Local 18. He was involved with the Root River Restoration Project and was a member of the Eagles Club. Andrew was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and enjoyed his time up north. He will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his children, Jeremy, Jaymie, Benjamin and Casey; stepchildren, Ashley, Lindsey and Carrie; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Danielle, Skyler, Ethan and Jared; nine step-grandchildren; siblings, Leonard, Mary and Paula; his former wife, Nancy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Bernadine.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
