She was surrounded by her children who adore her: Thea Kovac, Ruth Rademacher, Greta Fayle, Lennie Lehman, Christine Rademacher Seitz, Ted Rademacher, Jeni Van Hoesen and Regine “Charlie” Effinger.
Respected and cherished by the “outlaws”: Peter Kovac, Tom Hansen, Rob Fayle, Jon Lehman, Greg Seitz, Sue Rademacher, Richard Van Hoesen and Jason Effinger.
Missed by her loving grandchildren: Nick and Delia Kovac, Julia Namowicz and Stephen Humphrey, Kara and Katy Hansen, Claire and Elena Fayle, Jonathan and Ava Lehman, Gabe (Amber) Rademacher, Teddy and Becky Van Hoesen, Max and Lily Peterson, and Mara and Anya Effinger;
And her great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Westly and Willem Rademacher, and Leah Schroeder.
She joins her husband, Theo; parents, Ray and Greta Spanjers; along with brothers, John and Butch Spanjers; and is survived by her brother, Len, and wife, Glenda Spanjers; and sister-in-law, Joyce Spanjers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie St., with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Friday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Catherine’s High School or “Dress for Success Racine” have been suggested by the family.
