Royal Thomas 'Tom' Lowden

Los Angeles, CA –- Tom Lowden, born November 28, 1935, in Wisconsin,  passed away at home February 2, 2013. He was the son of the late Roy T. and Geraldine Lowden.

Loving brother of Gerald R. Lowden and Cindy (Larry) Kornack of Racine,WI; proud uncle of Edwin M. Sandle (fiancée, Nicole D’Amour), Robert T. Sandle, and Debra (Craig) Burdick, Susan (Tim) Siels, Margarethe Thompson, Andrea and Raeanne Lowden; other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to his many endearing and loyal friends that have been there for him throughout the years. Tom gave 40 years of outstanding services working for the Glendale Unified School District in many capacities. He was loved and respected by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John W. and his wife, Johanne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St., on Monday February 11, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Terrance J. Huebner officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.
