Charles 'Bud' L. Richardson

Charles “Bud” L. Richardson, age 89, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 8, 2014.  He was born in Woodruff, WI, on January 5, 1925, son of the late Jesse and Clementine (Nee:  Breymann) Richardson.

He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II.  In 1955, Bud was united in marriage to Ruby Selves, who preceded him in death on August 13, 2004.

Bud was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, where he devoted a lot of his time.  He loved returning to his hometown of Woodruff, WI, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling.

He was an avid snowmobile racer who won many trophies throughout the state with his son, Randy.

He also loved attending Racine Raider games with his friends and family.  He was a loving, caring person, who was devoted to his family and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his children, Debbie Richardson and Randy (Karen) Richardson, all of Racine; his four grandchildren, Sally, Gary, Mary and Timmy Richardson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Private funeral services and interment with Full Military Honors will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
