Thomas 'Tommie' Franklin Whitnell

Thomas (Tommie) Franklin Whitnell was born on November 10, 1955, to the late Horace (H.C.) and Bettie Whitnell in Mayfield, Kentucky. He graduated from the Racine Unified School District.

Thomas worked at Northwestern Medical Center (via DVR) as a maintenance worker until July 25, 2014. Thomas departed this earthly life on Sunday, July 27, 2014.

Homegoing celebration services will be held at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St., Racine, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of the services at 11 a.m. The committal services with Full Military Honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.
