Jerome W. Menden, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Franciscan Villa, South Milwaukee. Jerome was born in Racine on December 31, 1934, son of the late Walter and Rose (Nee: Schlick) Menden.
Jerome proudly served in the United States Army. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jerome was employed with various firms in Chicago as a computer systems analyst. An avid reader, he also enjoyed crossword puzzles, and playing cards with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his two goddaughters, Ellen Keller of Germantown and Karen Kasten of Appleton; numerous loving cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
