She graduated from Wilmot High School and soon after married her high school sweetheart, Earl Richter, on September 12, 1942. They had two children, Susan and Robert.
Dean is survived by her son, Robert (Sandra) Richter; grandchildren, Robin (Michael) Polzin, Raquel (Joe) Fallico, Lisa Rondan, Scott (Aimee) Lund; eight great-grandchildren, Michaela, Delaney and Callahan Polzin, Macy and Jacob Fallico, Phillip Rondan, Carlista and Charles Lund.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy; brother, Robert; her daughter, Susan; and husband, Earl.
According to her wishes, private interment was held. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
