Surrounded by his loving family, Warren J. Miller, age 80, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Becker-Shoop Center. Warren was born in Springdale, PA, on October 12, 1931, son of the late Charles and Zella (Nee: Lockhart) Miller.
On August 23, 1958, he was united in marriage to Rose Marie Orzechowski. Warren was a chemist working at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York, until his retirement in 1991. His pastimes included sailing, racing and photography. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-three years, Rose Marie; his children, Jane Miller, Charles (Tricia) Miller, Matthew (Tracie) Miller; his six grandchildren, Allison, Elaina, Sophia, Andrew, Zachary and Jake; brother, Herbert (Nancy) Miller of Indianapolis, IN; brother-in-law, Robert (JoAnn) Orzechowski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
