Ellen May (Epsillis) Iverson

Ellen May Iverson, age 95, of Racine passed away on October 26, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and is survived by children, Sue Rasmussen, Dale O’Hara, and Marc Iverson; four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Dancing was her passion, as an instructor, a professional adagio dancer and past co-president of Dudes & Dolls. She was a Member of Racine County Century Families, a past president of Racine Children’s Theatre, and a former member of the Racine Theatre Guild. She volunteered with St. Luke’s Auxiliary, and worked with the Garden Club at Ridgewood Healthcare.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Brad Van Fossen officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m.   Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Racine Historical Society.
