Linda L. (Jensen) Bouwens

Linda L. Bouwens, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at New Beginnings Assisted Living Home.  Linda was born in Elkhorn, WI, October 25, 1949. On November 26, 1988, at the First Baptist Church, she was united in marriage to Jerry D. Bouwens.

Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eagles Auxiliary # 281 and  also the Mel Tillis Fan Club.  Linda will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of twenty-three years, Jerry; brother, Charles Daugherty of Milwaukee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Suzanne) Bouwens, Gloria Sikes, Rocky (JoAnn) Rockwell, all of Racine, Jay Rockwell of Austin, TX; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.   She was preceded in death by her beloved adoptive  parents, Clarence E. and Muriel B. (Nee:Larsen) Jensen; by her sister, Janice M. Jensen; mother-in-law, Dorothy Rockwell; father-in-law, Clyde Bouwens; and brothers-in-law, Charles Bouwens, James E. Sikes; and sister-in-law, Nancy Rockwell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 3117 Lathrop Ave., with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating.  Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday at 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Memorials to the First Baptist Church or to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute have been suggested.
