Margaret G. Kriegs, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Margaret was born in Chicago on November 5, 1926, daughter of the late George and Margaret Newgren, and was a resident of Racine since 1966.
On September 2, 1947, she was united in marriage to William L. Kriegs. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-five years, William L. Kriegs; her son, William D. Kriegs; her grandson, William R. Kriegs; and her brother, John Newgren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Newgren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3:30 p.m.
