Sandra “Sam” K. Mott, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at her residence. Sam was born in Richmond, Virginia, on June 21, 1961, daughter of Robert and Willadene (Nee: Lovell) Singstock.
Sam was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1979.” On August 13, 2005, she was united in marriage to Gary W. Mott. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #437. An avid gardener, Sam also enjoyed crafts, decorating, shopping, camping and traveling, especially to Cancun where she enjoyed the beach. She will be fondly remembered for her caring, generous spirit and her willingness to always lend a helping hand. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her loving husband, Gary; her daughter, Lisa Coca; her grandchildren, Anthony and Anyssa Coca; her mother, Willadene Singstock; brother, Duane (Hazel) Singstock; sisters, Theresa Singstock, Diane (Jon) Kayon; brother-in-law, Kelly Mott; sister-in-law, Maureen (Robert) Arndt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Singstock; and sister, Barbara (David) Spencer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m.
