Reginald 'Bud' J. Mosher

Reginald “Bud” J. Mosher, age 74, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Ridgewood Care Center. Bud was born in Wisconsin Rapids on April 23, 1938, son of the late Reginald J. and Virginia A. (Nee: Henke) Mosher Sr.

On September 7, 1963, at St. Joseph Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Susan Kroes. Bud began and ended his career at ACME Die; however, between 1972 and 1993 he worked as a field service technician for two different industrial furnace companies and traveled the globe. Bud served in the United States National Guard and was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. He had a great love of trains, both the real thing and toy trains. He was a member of Badgerland S Gaugers Train Club for many years. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Susan; brother, Robert Mosher of Racine; sister, Sheila (Robert) Davidson of Plymouth, MN; brothers-in-law, Laurance (Pat) Kroes of West Allis, Richard Lannoye of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Patricia Lannoye; brothers-in-law, James Kroes and Theodore Kroes; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anton and Mae Kroes.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from 4:30 p.m. until time of Mass at 6 p.m. Private interment with Full Military Honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church or to the Parkinson’s Foundation have been suggested.
