Steven M. Roslansky
Slinger – Steven M. Roslansky, 45, formerly of Racine, passed away unexpectedly at the Hartford Medical Center on Monday, June 2, 2008.
He was born in Racine on July 26, 1962. Shortly after graduating from Case High school in 1980, he relocated to Milwaukee. He had been residing in Slinger since 1996.
Steven worked in Milwaukee for the US Postal Service from 1990 until the time of his death. He was one of those rare people who everyone liked. His sense of humor was unique, and he loved playing practical jokes. Steve enjoyed traveling the world, and especially to Hawaii and on cruise ships. He also liked to spend his time quietly with music, his friends and family, and his cats and dogs.
He is survived by his father, Marvin Roslansky of Apache Junction, Arizona; sisters, JoAnn (Rocky) Rockwell, and Rebecca (Kevin) Stellman of Wisconsin Rapids; brothers, Dennis Roslansky of Benton Kentucky, and Ronald Davidson of Racine; his dear companion, Randy “Tom” Pleugers of Slinger; as well as his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida (nee: Petersen) Roslansky; and his sister, Barbara Peterson.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2008, with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.Memorials to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072 Pittsfield, MA 01202 have been suggested.
