Franksville - Ms. Catherine Margis (nee: Deneka), 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Sheridan Medical Complex in Kenosha.
Catherine was born on November 25, 1917, to the late Gregory and Anna (nee: Matyshak) Deneka in Chicago, IL, and lived in Franksville most of her life. She was united in marriage to John Margis, Jr. who preceded her in death on January 23, 1992.
Catherine was a homemaker and retired dairy farmer who enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, knitting and crocheting. She was a very intellectual and strong-willed person.
Ms. Margis is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Harry and Edward; and a sister, Anna.
Private services in memory of Catherine were held.
Memorials may be directed to one’s favorite charity.
