Kathleen A. Arentz, age 64, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Kathy was born in Racine on August 1, 1950, daughter of the late Irving and Shirley (Nee: Johnson) Scheel.
Kathy graduated from William Horlick High School in 1968. Kathy was married to George Arentz, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, David (Karla) Stafford of Maineville, Ohio; her granddaughter, Mia; her brothers, Gary Scheel of Racine, Bill Scheel of Racine; and sisters, JoAnne (Gerald) Cummings of Crandon and Nancy Kroll of Racine; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
One of the happiest times in Kathy’s life was finding and reuniting with her son, David. She became a part of his life along with David’s new wife and then later upon the birth of her granddaughter, Mia.
Kathy’s whole life was her dogs. If you like to honor her memory, memorials can be made to the Racine County Humane Society, 4630 Oakdale Drive, Racine, WI 53405.
Per Kathy’s wishes, private services were held.
