Milton J. Schulz

Milton J. Schulz, age 91, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at his residence. Milton was born August 10, 1923, son of the late Herman and Frieda (Nee: Krenzke) Schulz.

Milton was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1941” and attended Marquette University. On June 21, 1957, in Racine he was united in marriage to Madeline M. Shafranski, who preceded him in death on February 13, 2010. Milton was employed with the Federal government, primarily in the Food and Drug Administration, for over thirty-five years. He was a former member of the Deutcher Männer Verein. An avid fisherman, he loved the outdoors and was a huge history buff. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Eric Schulz of Racine, Craig (Litzi) Schulz of Cedarburg, WI; his grandchildren, Margo and Cole; sister and brother, Nancy (James) Rooney of Racine, Gordon Schulz of Chanhassen, MN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard (Heddy) Shafranski of Houston, TX, James (Barbara) Shafranski of Stevens Point, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bethel Hoaglund and Eileen Schulz; five brothers, Russell, Gilbert, Norman, Kurt and Koran “Whitey.”

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with family on Saturday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of service at 4 p..m.

The family would like to thank Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Cardiac Unit and Compassionate Care Hospice.
