Dolores M. (Murphy) Brown

Dolores M. Brown, age 73, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. Dolores was born in Milwaukee on December 7, 1936, daughter of the late Harold N. and Ruby L. (Nee: Thompson) Murphy.

On October 11, 1954, she was united in marriage to Melvin J. Brown. Dolores was employed by Walmart for eleven years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin; her sons, Guy Brown of Prior Lake, MN, Michael Brown of Racine; her grandson, Maxwell James Frederick Brown; stepfather, Sam Thompson of New London, WI; brothers, Harold (Yvonne) Murphy of Mission, TX, James Murphy of Elkhorn, WI; sister, Kathleen (Thomas) Bishop of Racine; sisters-in-law, Janie Schlessner, Barbara Traxel, both of Oak Creek, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Allen Brown; and two sisters, Darlene Hausmann and Geraldine Murphy.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Danczyk officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m.
