Sandra L. Smith

Sandra L. Smith, our angel, age 65, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Medical Center with her children by her side. Sandra was born in Racine, October 19, 1944, daughter of the late William C. and Sylvia (Nee: Larsen) Smith.

Sandra was employed by Society’s Assets for fifteen years, retiring in 1993. Sandra had a large collection of angels. She enjoyed flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores, and was always looking for a bargain. Most of all she treasured time spent with her family and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her children, Laura Smith (Mike Johann), James Smith (Beth), Mark (Donna) Smith, Michael (Ryan) Smith, Robin (Bob) Quam, Renee (Michael) Petersen; 13 grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Kayla Albert), Richard Nelson (Kiya Kennedy), Kelly Hush, Jackie Hush, Jonathon Johann, Tyler Smith, Trista Smith, Taylor Smith, Tiffany Smith, Shana Smith, Shaylee Smith, Sequoya Smith, Dakota Smith; three great-grandchildren, Dontrell, Nyasia, Rashod; brother, William (Anne) Smith; sister, Judi (Earl) Montgomery; special nieces and nephews, Ronald Oley, Eileen Brodie; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William(Lillian) Smith; brother, Richard; and sister, Patricia Oley.

Private services were held.
