Gregory graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from IIT and taught high school Physics at Gordon Technical, Chicago, and worked for the Illinois state Unemployment Office until becoming disabled. He was a very gentle, friendly and loving person who will be deeply missed by his family.Survivors include his brothers, George J. (Rosemary) Kostos of Racine, Mark T. Kostos of Hanahan, S.C.; sister, Patricia Kelly (Homer Daehn) of Baraboo, WI; nieces: Devon and Pamela; nephews: Mark A, Vince, Jeff, Brian and Kevin.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., with Rev. Joseph G. Stobba OSA officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
