Jane Louise (Caswell) Graves

Jane Louise Graves (Nee Caswell) passed away February 11, 2010, at the age of 87.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wallace McNamee; her second husband, Myron Graves; her father, Glen L Caswell; and her mother, Estella L (nee Bingham) Caswell. Preceded in death by her brother, Donald Caswell; her sister, Shirley (Nee Caswell) Robinson. She is survived by her only remaining sibling, Marian (Donald) Huber, Lake Geneva, WI.

Beloved mother of John (Mary) McNamee, Muskego; Paul McNamee, Racine; Barbara (Leon) Todd, Milwaukee; Robert (Rita) McNamee, Plant City, FL; and Catherine (Michael) Graves, Plant City, FL. Loving grandmother of Michael (Melissa) McNamee, Robert (Kelly) McNamee, Patrick (Julie) McNamee, Aimee (Andre) Krainik, Sara Todd, Leon Todd III, Emily (Sean) Raclaw, and Ann Todd. Loving great-grandmother of Owen, Oliver, Liam and Amelia. Further survived by loving nieces, grandniece, and great-grandnieces and nephew.

Jane worked with her friends at Kohl’s Grocery on Durand Avenue for more than 20 years. She loved to travel to her second home in Florida and in her spare time traveled with patients to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, so they would not be alone in their time of need. In addition, she volunteered her time at the gift shop at All Saints Hospital and received Volunteer of the Year award.

Visitation will be Monday, February 15, 2010, at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St., Racine, Wisconsin 53403 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Private burial in St Francis DeSales Catholic Cemetery, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Lincoln Manor and the attendants at Society’s Assets for their wonderful assistance and care provided over the years.
