Orlando 'Fred' D. Cambio, Jr.

Bristol, WI -- Orlando “Fred” D. Cambio, Jr. passed away at his at his home on Thursday, February 11, 2010. Fred was born on May 25, 1940, in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late Orlando D., Sr. and Angelina M. (Fraulini) Cambio.

In 1958 Fred graduated from St. Philips High School in Chicago. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University in 1964.

On February 8, 1964, he was united in marriage to Lois Ann Sinkenberg. They moved their family to Bristol, WI, in 1972. In 1976 he started his own engineering consulting firm, Barnside Inc. He retired in 2009.

Fred is survived by his wife, Lois; his four children, Mary of Mundelein IL, Matthew (Jennifer) of La Crosse, WI, Nathan (Tina) of Weddington, NC, and Todd (Lily) of Madison, WI.; his eight grandchildren, Tatiana, Joseph, Silas, Nolan, Nicholas, William, Felix and Oscar; his siblings, Georgette Heiser of Somers, WI, and Michael Cambio of Barrington, IL.

While his passing will leave sadness; his life will always be celebrated by his friends and family.

Funeral services for Fred will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010, at 11 am at Holy Cross Church (formerly St. Scholastica), 18700 116th St., Bristol, WI. Visitation will begin at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Fred’s name to Hospice Alliance 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
