Irene F. Sisak, age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints Medical Center. Irene was born in Racine, August 23, 1927, daughter of the late Charles A. and Frances (Nee: Kuzelova) Kralicek.
Irene was a lifelong member at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church and on September 4, 1948, she was united in marriage to Wencel G. Sisak. While she was raising her family she was involved with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Irene’s pastimes included reading, sewing, knitting and baking. More than anything she cherished time with her family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-two years, Wencel; her children, James R. Sisak of Mt. Pleasant, John W. (Kate) Sisak of Howell, MI, Joanne (William) Robertson of Racine, Jerold J. (Julie) Sisak of Racine; her two grandchildren, Matthew Sisak, Kathryn Sisak; brother, Charles Kralicek of NY; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Leo Ebinal of FL, Helen Urbush, Matthew Sisak, both of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ebinal .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green St., with Rev. Stephen J. Stradinger officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m.
