JoAnn D. (Werner) Lutze

JoAnn D. Lutze, age 74, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at her residence. JoAnn was born in Oak Creek, WI, on May 26, 1937, daughter of the late Milton and Gerda (Nee: Jacob) Werner.

On April 20, 1963, at Grace Lutheran Church she was united in marriage to William “Bill” J. Lutze. JoAnn was employed by Western Publishing for forty-three years until her retirement in 1998. JoAnn was a member of the Lutheran Chapel of the Cross. She enjoyed playing cards, especially with her grandchildren. A lover of shopping and rummaging, JoAnn was always looking for gifts for her family. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of forty-eight years, Bill; her daughter, Tina Lutze; her five grandchildren, Tiana, Tabitha, Isaiah, Taleah and Tamaree Lutze; her great-grandchild, Semarion; sisters, Margie (the late Joseph) Ryddner, Joyce (Rick Peck) Werner, Kathi (William) Norwood; brother, Gerald (Cindi) Werner; brother-in-law, John (Judy) Lutz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Caledonia Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
