John J. Foster

John J. Foster, age 92, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Becker Shoop Center. John was born in Force, PA, on January 9, 1919, son of the late Joseph and Rose (Nee: Maloney) Foster.

During World War II John served in the United States Army. On June 10, 1950, in Milwaukee he was united in marriage to Irene M. Miller. John was employed by Young Radiator for many years. He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-one years, Irene; his daughter, Diane Foster; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brother, Marie, Veronica and Jim.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 28, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Ave., with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m.
