Ronald L. Petersen

Ronald L. Petersen, age 77, passed away peacefully Wednesday November 23, 2011, at Kenosha Estates Living and Care Center.

Ronald was born June 24, 1934, son of the late Lester and Violet Petersen. He grew up in Racine, was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and attended William Horlick High School. Ron served in the United States Army from 1954-1956.

Ronald is survived by his children, Kenneth (Stacey) Petersen, Karen (Michael) Checki and Kristi Petersen (Daniel May), all of Racine; grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren and Dana Petersen and Soren May.

Ronald was a very private person in life and remains so in death. A private celebration of his life will be held.

The family extends their thanks to the staff at Kenosha Estates for all of their support and patience; and special thanks to Lena Rosenthal for always being so helpful, caring and understanding.
