Charlotte Stetka, 81, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 10, 2011, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Arnegg, Germany, on October 5, 1930, daughter of the late Lorenz and Frida (Nee: Buck) Goller.
Charlotte was united in marriage to Alex Stetka on October 23, 1954, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Racine. Alex passed away June 25, 2004, after nearly fifty years together. She was employed by Unique Drapery for many years. She loved her travels to Europe, dancing, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed. On August 16, 2008, Charlotte was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Cotter of Racine.
Surviving are her husband Bob Cotter; daughter, Charlotte Keller; son, Steve (Katie) Stetka; grandchildren, Kelly (Bill) Boyer, Christopher Smith, Jennifer Bond, Jordan Stetka; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald; and her brother, Otto Buck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 16, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St., with Rev. Terrance J. Huebner officiating. Private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
