Lola Jane Mickiewicz, age 90, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa, WI. Lola was born in Iola, WI, daughter of the late James and Esther (Nee: Anderson) Swenson.
On January 15, 1944, at St. John’s parsonage she was united in marriage to Edward Mickiewicz, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2005. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and James Neuroth; two grandsons, Nathan Erb and Joshua (Lorena) Erb; great-granddaughter, Brizza; brother, James (Donna) Swenson; special cousin, Judith (Tom) Pelt; two step-grandchildren, Craig (Kristen) Neuroth and Leah Neuroth; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the Lutheran Home Chapel, 7500 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa, WI 53213-1717, would be greatly appreciated.
The family wishes to express a very special thank you to the staff of the Lutheran Home for all of their loving and compassionate care provided to Lola.
