Jim B. Cook

Jim Boyd Cook, age 50, passed away on January 15, 2011, in Bluewell, West Virginia. Jim was born in West Virginia, November 20, 1960, son of Jimmy and Sally (Nee: Pennington) Cook.

On August 9, 1980, in Caledonia, WI, he was united in marriage to Teresa Killips. Jim was employed by Intermet as a die caster for eighteen years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was also a Packers fan. More than anything he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include his children, Rebecca (Ryan) Keel of Kenosha, Joshua Cook (fiancée, Becky Grissom) of Racine, Rachel Cook of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Ember and River Keel, Devyn and Joshua Jr. Cook, and Grant Taylor; his parents, Jimmy and Sally Cook; brothers, Danny, Walter, Billy and Michael Cook; his former wife, Teresa; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Jim Laursen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Marsh-Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St., Racine. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday, at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. Interment was held at Cook Mountain in West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family.
