Lawrence 'Bud' P. Noll

Lawrence “Bud” P. Noll, age 86, passed away on his birthday, Sunday, June 24, 2012. Lawrence was born in Racine, June 24, 1926, son of the late Robert P. and Frances M. (Nee: Kerth) Noll.

During World War II Bud proudly served as Corporal in the United States Army Air Force. On November 22, 1947, at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva he was united in marriage to Nancy Davis, who preceded him in death on September 29, 2005. Bud was employed by Racine Industrial Plant for thirty-six years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He enjoyed farming and his tractors were his joy. He will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his children, Joseph (Victoria) Noll, Ann (Dan) DeRosia, all of Racine; his five grandchildren, Anthony (Becky) DeRosia, Andrew (Jill) DeRosia, Dan (Jami) DeRosia, Jennifer (Bruce) McDonald, Joshua (Jeni) Noll; his great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kayla, Courtney, Taryn, Hunter, Micah, Taylor, Braydon and Dalton; sisters, Frances (Steve) Horvath, Anna Zurawski, all of Racine; sister-in-law, Betty Davis of N. Hollywood, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Dorothy (Fred) Bauer, Anthony (Jeanette) Noll, Robert (Elizabeth) Noll, William (Marie) Noll, Leo (Beatrice) Noll, Albert (Esther) Noll, Claudine (Stanley) Gabik, Helen Noll, Eugene Noll; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank Zurawski, Dan Davis and Joan (Jack) Douglas.
              
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., on Monday, July 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. Entombment with full military honors will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to St. Rita Catholic Church or to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
