Edward A. Kowalski

Edward A. Kowalski, age 79, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center.  He was born in Chicago, IL, on August 26, 1933, son of the late John and  Stella (Nee: Wiczas) Kowalski.

On June 25, 1955, in Chicago he was united in marriage to Eileen T. Scott.  Edward was a physicist who worked in Medical Research and as a consultant.  He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Eileen; children, Edward (Donna) Kowalski, Winnie (Neal) Morehead, Kathy (Scott) Norton, Maggie (Bob) Warren, John (Ruth Ann) Kowalski, Mark (Terrilynn) Kowalski; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann.

Private services were held with interment at Valhalla Cemetery, Bloomington, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Assn have been suggested.
