Floyd served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for Progressive Dairy for a number of years and retired from Webster Electric. He was an avid Cubs fan.
Surviving are his siblings, Richard Ryan, Bernadine (William) James, Joanne (Daniel) Barton; sister-in-law Florence Ryan; nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie; his son, Terry; his sister, Alice Simon; and brother, Earl.
A committal service with full military honors will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013, at noon at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.
