Judy Ann Vance, age 73, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Ridgewood Care Center. Judy was born in Racine, June 28, 1936, daughter of the late Adolph Peterson and Mary Margaret “Monnie” (Nee: Brinck) Peterson Reiher Mohrbacher.
On February 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to Paul D. Vance, who preceded her in death on October 25, 1994. On June 28, 1997, she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Siebert. More than anything, Judy loved being with her family. In addition to caring for her family and friends, she enjoyed bowling, playing cribbage, politics and the New England Patriots. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; her children, Cindi (Mike) Smith, Jeff (Karla) Vance; her grandchildren, Paul (Rhonda) Vance, Jodi Vance; her great-granddaughter, Haley, all of Racine; brother, James C. Reiher and friend Paula Larsen of Delafield, WI, and his children, Joshua Christian Reiher of Madison, WI, Shiloh (Dan) Roehl of Alexandria, VA, and their son, Lucas, Alissa (Matt) King of Portland, OR; sister, Trina (Tim) Creedon of Ottawa, IL, and their daughters, Morgan of Chicago, IL, and Latham (USN); special niece, Carole Kosterman; other nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sally Spurgeon Reiher.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 5 p.m. with Rev. Ronald J. Gramza officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. Memorials to St. Richard Catholic Church, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation have been suggested.
