Richard Creuziger, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis.
Richard was born in Racine to the late Alvin and Oda (nee: Field) Creuziger on March 31, 1924. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Mae Buell on June 21, 1947. Richard was a graduate of Horlick High School and served in the Navy from 1943-1946 on the Pacific Front as an Electronic Technician’s Mate 1st Class. He was later employed as an electronics and television repairman until his retirement.
Mr. Creuziger was an avid collector of many things including Coca-Cola, Planter’s Peanuts and Pabst Beer memorabilia, coins, and was a Civil War buff.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Creuziger; son and daughter-in-law, William and Carol Creuziger; grandson, Jason; sister, Dorothy Klingenmeyer; four nieces, three nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis in 1989; and sister, Rosalie Franklin in 1993.
Funeral services for Richard will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at the funeral home from 5 -7 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
