Marjorie was born in Racine on April 28, 1935, the daughter of Louis and Marjorie (nee: Coyne) Nelson. She was employed as an assembler for Master Appliance, retiring after more than 30 years of service. Marjorie was a Washington Park High School graduate and found great enjoyment in playing bingo, but most of all her greatest love was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.Marjorie is survived by her children, Sharon (David) Klimek, Brian Thomas, Arthur Thomas; and one brother, Louis “Joe” (Virginia) Nelson. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Humphrey, Shane, Maxwell and Molly Klimek; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Julia Humphrey and Caitlin Klimek; as well as her nephews and their families. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Nelson.
In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes, private services have been held.
Marjorie’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Michael Mullane, R.N. Kelli, and their entire staff for the compassion and care given during her illness.
