Madeline M. Schulz, age 83, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010, at Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. Madeline was born in Stevens Point, WI, on March 5, 1926, daughter of the late Alex and Theresa (Nee: Marx) Shafranski.
Madeline was a graduate of Park High School. On June 21, 1957, in Racine she was united in marriage to Milton J. Schulz. For many years she was employed by O & H Danish Bakery. Madeline loved cooking, knitting, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Above all she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-two years, Milton; her sons and daughter-in-law, Eric Schulz of Racine, Craig (Litzi) Schulz of Grafton, WI; her grandchildren, Margo and Cole; sister, Jeanette Moe of Racine; brothers, Richard (Heddy) Shafranski of Houston, TX, James (Barbara) Shafranski of Stevens Point, WI; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bethel Hoaglund of Edina, MN, Nancy (James) Rooney of Racine, Gordon Schulz of Chanhassen, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 19, 2010, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Friday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mike Mullane and his staff, and the staff of the Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Intensive Care Unit for their outstanding care and support.
