John Pham

John Tung Vuong Pham, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his relatives at Kenosha Estates, Kenosha, on Friday, March 7, 2014.

John was born in Vietnam and graduated from Indiana State College in 1964. John returned to Vietnam and taught engineering at the Polytechnic Center in Phu-Tho until 1975. John immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 and taught in San Jose, CA, until his retirement in 2005. He moved to Racine in 2008 and became a resident of Kenosha Estates.

John is survived by his brothers, Paul Pham and Tho Pham of Racine, Antony Thang Pham of Austin, TX, and Tony Toan Pham of Sacramento, CA; nieces, nephews, and grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St., with Reverend Terry Huebner officiating. Relatives and friends may meet at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, John’s family would appreciate memorials be given to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA).

The family would like to extend our thanks to the staff at Kenosha Estate Living and Care Center and Allay Hospices for their compassion and excellent care.
