Ronald J. Klimowicz

Surrounded by his loving family, Ronald J. Klimowicz, age 76, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at his residence.  Ronald was born in Racine on August 30, 1937, son of the late Alois and Catherine (Nee:  Shaw) Klimowicz.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Air Force.  On May 27, 1961, at St. Rita Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Rosemary Catrine.  Ronald was employed for many years at S.C. Johnson.  He will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Rosemary; his children, Rick (Susan) Klimowicz, Karen Wakefield, Randy (Shelly) Klimowicz; seven grandchildren, Jade Klimowicz, Brianne, Brittany,  Benjamin and Brian Wakefield, Michael and Nicole Klimowicz; sisters, Joanne Bouwma and Carole Mokry; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Samantha Rose Klimowicz; brother, Glenn; and sister, Marie (Rook) Callewaert.

Private funeral services with Full Military Honors were held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover, on Friday, April 4, 2014. Memorials to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 200 South Executive Drive Ste 203, Brookfield, WI  53005 have been suggested.
