Raymond J. Kressig

Raymond J. Kressig, age 102, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Lakeshore Manor.  Raymond was born in Racine County on May 3, 1911, to John and Anna (Nee: Yanoshek) Kressig.

Raymond was united in marriage to Marion Aegerter on August 31, 1935, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; she preceded him in death on January 15, 1983.  He worked as an accountant for Young Radiator Company for forty-three years, retiring in 1973.  Raymond was a member of Young Radiator’s “20 Year Club,” The Institute of Management Accountants, St. Lucy’s Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters.  He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his daughters, Diane (Thomas) Peterson, Sandy (John) Prochaska; his grandchildren, Tamara Helm, Terry Chapman, Deborah Peden, David Prochaska; his great-grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Annie and Carley Helm, Julie (Cory) Olson, Jenny Chapman, Luke and Tiffany Peden;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edmund (Alice) Kressig; sister, Marie (Albert) Davis; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Warren (Mabel) Aegerter, Carol Aegerter and Mildred Aegerter.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
