Deanna Gutierrez

Deanna Gutierrez, age 52, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Deanna was born in Racine on July 6, 1961, daughter of the late Ysidro and Adeline “Nina” (Nee: Pavia) Gutierrez.

Deanna was very devoted to her job. She was employed as an Early Childhood Education Assistant with the Racine Unified School District for thirty-four years, and was last working with special needs children. She was a proud Green Bay Packers fan. Deanna’s most joy came from spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. They always brought a smile to her face and held a special place in her heart. She will be deeply missed.

Deanna is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Bueno, Carrie (Daniel) Renteria Sr.; brothers, Stephen Gutierrez, Thomas Ysidro Gutierrez; nieces, Katrina R. Bueno Munoz, Alyssa R. Gutierrez; nephews, Justin R. Renteria, Daniel Renteria Jr.; great-nephews, Mario Munoz Jr., Ramiro A. Munoz, Valentino Y. Munoz; great-niece, Mia L. Renteria; other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014, at noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon. Memorials to Myasthenia Gravis Foundation have been suggested.
