Jean F. Caswell, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, Union Grove, WI. Jean was born in Fergus Falls, MN, on February 27, 1924, daughter of the late Milton D. and Marion (Nee: Daily) Mason.
On August 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Phillip E. Caswell, with whom she shared sixty-three wonderful years. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2011. She was an active and longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Woman’s Club. Jean served as past president of the P.E.O. She enjoyed reading and shopping, but most of all she cherished time spent with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her four children, Barbara Cahall, Donald Caswell, James (Debbie) Caswell, Judy Caswell; grandchildren, Christopher Cahall, Ashley Caswell, Amber Caswell, Aldo Camarano, Matthew Caswell; great-grandchildren, Ava and Joey Frieble; brother, Donald (Elaine) Mason; sisters-in-law, Marcia Mason, Vivian Mason, Dorothy Caswell, Darlene Caswell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Mason, Jack Mason; and her sister, Marilyn Mason Walchuk.
Private funeral services with interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Memorials to the Parkinson’s Foundation have been suggested.
