Donald Lee 'Uncle Donnie' Neibaur

Donald Lee “Uncle Donnie” Neibaur, age 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at his residence. He was born April 24, 1933, in Racine to the late Earl and Borghild “Bergie” (Nee: Sunde) Neibaur.

He proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Montrose (APA-2112) during the Korean Conflict. Donald was a bartender for many years. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veteran’s (DAV).

Survivors include his good friend and sister-in-law, Gretchen Neibaur; special niece, Diane (Scott) Ryan; special friends, Patty Davy, Ken Andersen, Lori Davy, Everett Barker, Tommy Kelley, and Marci Stahojvak; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four older brothers, Les “Ruel” (Florence), Richard “Huntz” (Barbara), Earl (Kappy) and Uncle Jimmy.

In accordance with Uncle Donnie’s wishes, private services with Full Military Honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.
