Kellie J. (Hovorka) Mitchell

Surrounded by her loving family, Kellie J. Mitchell, age 33, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. Kellie was born in Racine, December 20, 1976, daughter of Robert J. and Norma M. (Nee: Smith) Hovorka Jr.

Kellie was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1995.” On November 16, 2004, she was united in marriage to Cliff L. Mitchell Jr. She was an active member of Grace Church where she also belonged to MOPS. Kellie was a loving wife and mother who had a huge heart and was always very generous to everyone she knew and met. More than anything, she cherished time spent with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, Cliff; her dearly loved children, Alexandria, Brian, Kasey and Aden; her parents, Robert and Norma Hovorka; her grandmother, Dolores Moccompen; brothers, Weston (Angie) Hovorka, Joshua (Angela) Hovorka; sister-in-law, Nicole Mitchell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Sam Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Memorials to the family for an education fund to be established or to the Epilepsy Foundation have been suggested.

Kellie’s family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to her caregivers  at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, especially to nurses Linda and Jeanne, for their loving and compassionate care.
