Margaret M. (Checki) McNeese

Margaret M. McNeese, age 86, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Margaret was born in Racine, December 23, 1923, daughter of the late John and Emma (Nee: Miller) Checki.

On June 18, 1947, she was united in marriage to Donald J. McNeese, who preceded her in death on  October 24, 1992. Margaret was employed as a beautician for six years and was a waitress at Racine Country Club for ten years and Golden Lantern for twenty years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, Cheryle A. McNeese and Michael J. McNeese, both of Racine; her grandchildren, Erik, Donald McNeese (Nicole Stegall), Michael (Abigail) Spahich; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Lynn McNeese, Breanne Rae McNeese; brothers, George (Millie) Checki, James (Helen) Checki, Ronald (Christine) Checki; sister-in-law, Marilyn Checki; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward.

Committal services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, Hwy 32.
