Helen R. (Mutchler) Manteufel

Helen Ruth Manteufel passed away Monday, April 12, 2010, at Woodstock Health Care Center, Kenosha. She was born in Burlington, WI, October 19, 1924, daughter of the late Leo and Teresa (Nee: Vogt) Mutchler.

She was united in marriage to Edward F. Manteufel who preceded her in death January 20, 1981. She enjoyed bingo and the activities at Killarney Kourt. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her four children, Edward (Brenda) Manteufel of Loveland, CO, Gary (Jean) Manteufel of Sturtevant, Ellen Manteufel of Sturtevant, Jean Janos of Wauwatosa, WI; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Geraldine Mutchler, Melvin Pfeiffer, and Hugh Roberts; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Mutchler; and sisters, Rosemary “Mitzi” Pfeiffer and Carol Roberts.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 16, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will precede  the service on Friday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Committal services with entombment will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Memorial Park, Oak Creek, WI. Please meet at the chapel.
